Planning on getting a laptop soon, was just wondering if Thinkpad laptops are any good.
Lenovo seems to have a very strong reputation and excellent products and is loved in the tech world by operating enthusiasts and programmers alike.
Its Thinkpad T470, T470s, adn the new X1 Carbon are what i'm considering at the moment... of course there are others, such as the Workstations P series, or the Gaming series, but when it comes to music production, the primary things are CPU, RAM, and Hard Drive speed(ssd) right?
Thinkpads T series seems to fit this category pretty well, as they seem to provide the best bang for the buck and emphasizes on the integral part of the system (minus the graphics card).
Basically, quad core processor or as many cores as you can get, 16 gig ram (preferrably ddr4)? and a fast 500+ gig ssd ?
