I'm new to music programs but I really want to get into electronic stuff. I got Garageband to start and from what I get you have a DAW (like Gband) to emulate instruments (which it comes with preinstalled as well) by pulling from banks (idk maybe Im wrong). I have a electric piano, a mic and some random instruments. I got Dexed, Podolski and Synth1. I read that Gband can only do 64 bit but others have got them to work. I followed the install directions of putting the component and vst in the right folder but when I open a new project in Gband and go to smart controls-plugins it only shows Apple instruments. Am I missing something?
I use Gband to mess around and make tracks but I've been listening to stuff like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J67nkzoJ_2M&t=2s and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDvKwSVuUGA and want to get these kinda sounds. Maybe I can get these sounds with Gband already and I just haven't realised it. I mostly just use the drums on it.
