Some context: I had some child lessons on piano and flute (was in marching band freshman year), but fell really in love with cello music. Years later, knowing this, my boyfriend rented a cello and six lessons as a Christmas present.
I've since bought out the cello, and practice frequently, but i KNOW the tuning is off, even with the app(s). Are the weekly lessons worth the cost just for that? Can I just go to an instructor and make them teach me how to tune it, or should I keep paying to learn - what is the best approach?
