Hi guys! I recently bought a DAC (asus xonar essence stu), but now Im getting quite fast alot of underruns. I only can use one instance of Serum, when playing less than 6 notes, without getting those annoying cracking sounds. And I already do allow threaded processing.
I have an amd phenom 2 x4 955 (3,2 Ghz) CPU , nothing to a i5 or i7 but not that bad and 16 Gb of ddr3 ram.
So maybe theres something wrong with my audio settings?! When im using the ASIO sound device I only got a buffer of 20ms, which i cant increase. And even using the normal sound device the buffer of 100ms is still too low...
Are there any options for me to decrease the amount of underruns without purchasing a new cpu or increasing the buffer even more?
