So this is gonna be a fun project..
I have a song I created when I was new to producing. It's mostly terrible with a minute and a half intro of a piano but I fucking love the drop. I really want to remake it with the same drop but unfortunately I don't have the project files anymore.. My only choice is to download it off of my damn Soundcloud (kill me) and then try to cut it/EQ it/whatever to try to make it not sound out of place/like total shit. The mixing on it was pretty garbage too so that's gonna make it even tougher.
Does anybody have any advice? I'm thinking this just isn't going to work but I wanted to give it a shot. I tried to recreate the synth patches I was using and the melody and all that myself but I just can't figure it out. The melody was an arp effect on some weird MIDI track that I converted from some random ass sample using Serum presets that I don't have anymore so..
Thanks in advance homies.
Also, tip for anybody new to this - keep your fucking project files backed up.
