I recently became friends with a well-known producer online and he told me he'd be willing to share some of his older project files. We both work in Ableton, but the issue is his older files are in Live 8.x (I'm on 9.7). What would be the best way to view these projects without having to bounce each track to audio (i.e. I want as much of the original project left as-is as possible). In addition, I would also love some recommendations on how to transfer these types of files. Would dropbox be acceptable or are there easier online transfer methods?
