Asking cause I'm working on something for the Fictional genre competiton, but I don't think I fully understand how this genre works. I have a decent set of chords and a cool melody that I'm happy with, but I'm not sure if the repetition is just part of the genre, or I'm doing something wrong. What kind of techniques do progressive house makers use to keep a track interesting?
