I'm interested in what I would call, "simple tunes" to start with. For example, the ones that accompany Chris Stapleton's music. Maybe that's too vague. I'm sure learning scales or something is where I should start. I played trumpet back in middle school and now that I'm in college, I'd love to pick up an interesting hobby that will give me something to enjoy that I can progress with as I get older. I'd also love to be able to play with my grandpa within the next few years. He plays 50/60s-esque genre stuff from sheet music and I'd love to be about to even comprehend how to keep up. I have a harmonica (C scale? The standard?) and will ask my mom to send up her extra guitar for me to fiddle with as well. Shoot me your favorite beginner guides, words of wisdom, motivation, or whatever, I'm starting at ground zero here! Thank you
