Hey guys,
recently I found several tracks like RL Grime - Era, Valhalla or Major - Spektrum that have the drop after 40 bars and not after the typical 32 bars, so basically the buildup section starts after 32 bars.
I just wondered if this is a common technique because usually wherever I look for, people say the drop comes after 32 bars.
Having a 8 bar section before the drop really feels more natural to me as it offers extra space to create more tension but I'm wondering if it may mess up timings.
