I already have serum and want to start exploring FM sound design. Would it be worth getting something like FM8 for this or would serum sound just as good? Does fm8 have more possibilities in terms of this form of synthesis and can it sound better if you use it to its full potential? I dont have loads of money to throw around on stuff so I need to make sure what I get will really help my sound design game. Thanks!
