Three degrees in music education later, I learned coding and thought it would be cool to try to make a few music learning games based on popular gameplay styles (e.g., first-person shooter, runner game).
I’m looking for a few testers to try out my first development: Music Scale Run.
The gameplay is simple. You are a character named Jen. Jen likes to dance. Once the countdown finishes, Jen starts dancing down the musical staff runway.
Your job is to make sure Jen only hits the correct notes. You can choose individual scales to practice from the home screen or try Endless Run mode. The runway is set up like a piano, with black keys on the left and white keys on the right.
In the Endless Run mode, a random scale will generate and you have to quickly react to hit only the correct notes. How many correct notes in a row can you get?
Thanks in advance. Your feedback is welcomed. Please post here or send a DM. I am currently working on an iOS and macOS version but they charge $99 to upload an app and I’m not quite there yet.
