Okay, maybe not 20 years consistently, but I started playing flute in elementary school 20 years ago and played through high school. I was good enough to be second chair in our award winning concert band. I took and passed AP music theory. And I never learned how to read rhythm.
I know the concepts, but I can't read and actually produce anything but the most basic rhythm. I always have to hear and mimic anything more involved. Now, I only play occasionally for fun, but I recently decided to pick up another instrument and figure it's better late than never to do things right. I'm looking for any and all rhythm practice resources, tips, and practice tools that may be out there.
