Hi! I dabbled in recorder when I was younger, and sang (not at the same time). Tried some harp at one piont, but did not have the time (or the mony) to invest in one. 2 years ago I bought a cheap ukulele, and taught my self to play it from free resources online. I got a better one a year ago. Now I feel like I want to try something new, and something with a broader range. I will have to teach myself, or with online lessons. I don't have the space for something as big as a piano. I like learning about music and music theory, and have done so since I picked up the uke. I have a good "ear for music". I like most music, but don't really get jazz. Classical and irish/folk music/ medieval music have a special place in my heart. I sing, but I don't have to be able to do it with my new instrument. I can spend up to 500 dollars on the instrument it self. Do you have any suggestions on what to learn next?
