Just wanted some advice on whether I should learn piano or drums. I'm interested in both. Work stresses me out (what job doesn't?) so I'm looking for something therapeutic in my off time. I played trumpet for a year in middle school. Played some guitar and bass in college. But I wouldn't say I was proficient at any instrument I played. I used to be able to read music but not so much anymore. I'm torn between the two and I wonder how hard it'll be to read music. I think piano could be fun and relaxing, but I might have a hard time since I have short fingers. Drums would be fun and a good release for my frustrations, but not sure I could keep different beats with my hands and feet. I know it all takes practice. Just wanted to get some thoughts, especially if someone has played both. I was also thinking about taking a lesson or two for both and go from there, but I'm looking for a starting point. I appreciate any help!
