I have played instruments before, never through music notes though, I can somewhat read which note is which but how each note is related to a key on the piano is my problem. Reading through why people say synthesia is bad for anyone overall on r/piano, they all say its due to the fact that you memorize the keys instead of knowing why it is pressed. So, is there any guide out there for turning reading sheet music to playing it on the piano?
P.S. I have no knowledge of music theory at all, I just hope for the best when I play an instrument and a youtube tutorial.
