Hello everyone!
I have restarted learning music again probably after around 6 years. Then I was learning to play the keyboard from a music teacher. I have a few doubts, probably some misplaced concepts but nevertheless I'm curious to know about these.

What's the difference between playing with 2 hands and 1 hand? One can produce the same tune by playing with 1 hand, then what's the extra thing you get by playing with both your hands? Also I know people play the chorus on the right hand and play the chords on the left. Another variant is playing chords on both hands. Are the 2 same?

When I say a song is in a particular scale say c major, does it imply only those notes can be used to play the song ( again is this true for one hand playing?). What I understand is that scales are variants of each other (like c major and a minor essentially sound the same).
Apologies in advance if these questions are stupid.
Also any good material online to learn?
Thanks & Cheers.
