Hi Everyone!
It's been a good long while since I've made a post (largely due to being extremely busy with grad school) but now I'm back.
This video is the first in a series about making your improvisations sound more surprising/unpredictable, and different techniques involved in getting more variation out of your playing. Part 1 here is covering the concept of applying extremely wide intervals in to more step-wise types of lines/phrases.
While there are some examples given in the video that you can learn, the important takeaway is to practice improvising utilizing the concept being presented. This way you'll learn to implement it in your own unique way!
Thanks!
