Hi!
I just started learning piano not too long ago- and in trying to understand something before moving on to far. I don’t understand how I’m supposed to know which note to play in the music. In a song in C, everything is normal, but how do i know which C I’m supposed to be playing? There are multiple on the keyboard, unless it’s just Always middle C?
And to bounce off that question, in different keys, how do i know which notes to play then? I know a higher key is going to sound higher, but a C note in the key of C and a C note in, idk, the key of F can’t be in the same place can they? Does the key change where the letters on lines and spaces go?
I’m having a hard time understanding how keys effect the sheet music, besides just making it sound different. How do i know where to start with music that isn’t in C?
Thanks guys!
