Hey all,
About a month ago I posted about a free website I had created (https://www.tuneupgrade.com) for creating and following a practice routine. A ton of redditors gave me some awesome feedback and continue to do so.

I wanted to say thanks to the community for giving such great feedback, and I wanted to share that I've made a bunch of updates over the last month to address that feedback. I'm also trying to figure out where to take this next.
Updates I've made are:
- Mobile app installation via a progressive web app. This was the fastest way for me to enable support on a mobile device outside a mobile browser.
- Major practice timer overhaul. Members of the community had issues where the timer would stop when phones or laptops would go to sleep, so I fixed that to have it pick up properly on wake. This required a rewrite to how the timer worked so it took the most time to get updated.
- Converted practice notes to use a monospace font, so you can more easily align tabs/chords/rhythms.
- Various bugfixes around saving practice notes, setting your practice goal, tooltips missing/misspellings.
Other features I'm considering and would love to hear from the community on:
- A metronome on the practice screen, which remembers its set tempo per song or exercise.
- A tagging system and searching system to allow you to enter more information about your songs and exercises and keep better organized.
- Emailing practice reports, allowing you to email what you practiced easily to your teacher.
- Expanding gamification to include badges you can earn (logging in and practicing consistently, for example), or leaderboards.
- Exporting your practice logs so you can run your own data analysis
- Modifying what day of the week your week starts on, so you can track Wednesday-Tuesday instead of Sunday-Saturday.
- Expanding data visualizations to provide things like a calendar view of past practice, analysis of how often a song is practiced, and more.
Let me know what would help you practice better.
Also, mods - I tried messaging you, not sure if I did it right - I love posting here and on other music subreddits (i.e. /r/guitarlessons and /r/piano and such) about practicing habits and other advice. If there's a way to step this up into an official capacity to get feedback from the /r/LearnMusic community I'm all ears.
