I've read a lot about this in various forums and I'm not looking for one answer but what's some of those things that producers tend to do when they are new. Things that just shout "I am new to producing" as soon as you hear them.
I have been producing for two years and there's times that I can hear obviously bad mixes but I am definitely not a professional so i'm assuming well trained ears can immediately spot mistakes that I'm making.
