I apologize if this isn't the right place, but my brother makes music on FL Studio, and has been wanting to get a decent mic to start adding some vocals.
I've done a bit of research and decided on the SHURE-SM57, but I'm a little confused as to which 'style' to get. I think the XLR-USB adapter is right, because that means he can just plug it into the computer and record? Or should I try to get one of the other bundles? Also, is there something else I should be adding to the purchase, like one of those feather duster looking things they put over mics sometimes? Will he be able to just get this and start recording?
Thanks!
EDIT: This is the mic: https://www.amazon.com/Shure-SM57-LC-Cardioid-Dynamic-Microphone/dp/B0000AQRST/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1519928111&sr=1-1&keywords=SM57
