One aspect of production I feel I am struggling with it when it comes to mixing and getting my tracks to sound punchy, loud, and clear.
What are you all throwing on your Group Bus (Drums, Bass, Synth, Vox, etc.) to achieve the aforementioned objectives?
I know that it's not ALL about the mixing phase, and that sample selection and use of the frequency spectrum come into play as well. I know less can equal more. I guess with all things considered I am asking specifically about the mixing phase.
