Hey guys, apologies in advance if there's a better subreddit for this, lol
So I'm looking into getting a simple (but not crappy) mic to have for basic recording purposes mainly whenever I need to record some vocals. (I'll worry about recording live instruments later)
I'm looking into two mics mainly: the Audio-Techinica AT2035 ($149) and the Audio-Techinica AT2020 ($99) Both have great reviews all over the Internet but the AT2035 also comes with a shock-mount and a high pass filter, but I don't know if those additions make it worth the extra $50.
On top of those two, there of course could be other affordable options I haven't looked into. Do you guys have any recommendations? Whether they be from my two options or anything else I didn't mention
