Greetings, everyone!
I've been waiting for a bit to invest in an audio interface for my studio at home. Now seems like a perfect time to invest. I've been given (haven't received it yet, but will know the model number by tonight. I know its made by Sony and has a USB and RCA function) a record player from a family friend.
I'm running a macbook pro and a pair of JBL 305s, as well as a bunch of other studio gear. I haven't invested in an interface yet because I'm on the road so much for school, work, etc, and because of my field, I have access to interfaces where I go.
Is there a way to accept the RCA signal from the turntable, and out to the speakers, then be able to flip a switch or click a few buttons and be able to switch back over to DAW control? Hopefully eliminating the need to plug and unplug cables often. I do not mind if I have to run an audio in/out through my DAW for the turntable. I use Logic.
Thanks!
