I have been looking at Pyramind specifically. My GI Bill benefits will cover the 8 month core producer program, and housing allowance in San Fran is $4000+ a month. I also have parents living in Pacifica, so money would NOT be an issue.
A little background about me: I've only started producing since November and have always wanted to work in the industry since I was a teenager. I left a cushy job at Intel years ago because I wasn't fulfilled with what I was doing, even though the money was good. The last few years I've been scraping by in search of my true calling, and I really think music is it. I'm spending countless hours reading, watching YouTube, and playing in Ableton.
If I were to go to Pyramind (or any other school), what should I be spending my time to gain that I couldn't get on my own?
