Hello all!
Currently I developed the strong desire to learn and produce music as a hobby (ambient, chill, electronic, trance, ...).
I've done some research (although it could be more) and the OP-1 Field seems very appealing to me.
The thing that lets my brain go brrr about the OP-1 Field despite it's astronomical price tag is that it meets the following criteria:
- standalone all-in-one package, without the need of a PC.
- operating the gear should be more "haptic" than digital, I want no fiddeling around from menu to menu with the same 3 buttons (like the Dirtywave M8 Tracker does)
- easy to pick up, but it needs to grow with me (originally I concidered to get CHOMPI, but I figured after some weeks of doodeling around there will be no more to achieve, it is very limited)
- AUX out
So, because there is a lot of gear out there I hope there is some alternative gear besides OP-1 Field. If it completely satisfies all above criteria, it could also be a combination of max. 2 devices if they work well together.
What are your suggestions?
