Hello! I have been learning piano for 2 months now, using Alfed's all-in-one books to get some basics.
My end goal is not classical, my end goal is to be able to jam in a funk group, on piano or like, a HammondB3, and have a handle on how music theory and piano actually work.
Question 1) Are there any online piano courses with that end (that start with beginners)? All I can find have an end goal of playing classical piano, or pop songs - which I am less interested in.
Question 2) If not, is there a general trajectory I should take in order to get to the end goal of funk organ/piano? Like, should I just go ahead and do a year of classical courses to have some fundamentals, or what?
Question 3) My ideal setup would be an online subscription course that gives like, daily plans for what to do each day (practices, theory, etc.) that I can stay on track with - is there anything you've used and like that was like that?
I'd prefer those responding be people capable of funk pianists/organist - not just looking for conjecture.
THANKS
