Hi all, I'm super proud to share an iOS app I've been building! Mujo is a "smart metronome" that tries to make practice journaling easy: it has time-tracking, note-taking, and task-planning, while also striving to stay as simple as possible.
I recorded a video showing it off and talking about it: you can see a super-short 60-second version, or the full 4m version.
After logging 905 hours over the last year+, I can confidently say it's revolutionized my practice. Just by logging time with in-app timers, I can see how long it's been since I've practiced a thing (piece, passage, exercise, etc), and compare how much time I've put into each. It really helps me plan my practice in an intelligent, data-driven way, and helps me stay accountable to my own goals (e.g., average hours / day). The stats and graphs are super motivating to me - people often compare it to fitness trackers, kind of like "Fitbit for your metronome".
I have a TON of ideas for features I'd like to work on, if I can build up an audience. The most obvious thing is an Android app: it's a lot of work, but I'd be thrilled to someday if the demand is there.
I really hope you all love it! ❤️
