From what I heard thus far, the good things about learning guitar is it is easier to pick up and play songs in less time learning while also being a 'versatile' instrument. I think that I prefer electric guitar over acoustic guitar from hearing music
For piano, it is better for learning the basics of music and theory and also can be used to play many types of music well. If I choose piano/keyboard I probably won't get a real piano but an electronic keyboard to start off with at least as it may be cheaper and easier to get my hands on. Also I heard that if I can learn piano well, it would make going into guitar possibly easier if I decide to try that out too later on
I probably will lean mostly toward playing pop songs rather than classical music. I am also in my early 20s so I think I am a late starter for learning an instrument, but I did learn a bit of music theory and keyboarding in high school but I don't recall much.
Feel free to give suggsetions or advice or opinions regarding what I should choose, thank you
