Im a beginner self teaching how to play classic guitar right now. I can do kinda well with tabs but stumbling a lot with chords and aiming to step up my skills. I admire people who can play by ear so much, its a completely foreign concept to me so im afraid if its something i can achieve by practicing or its about talent
I listen to rock and grunge a lot and bands like Nirvana and Duman inspire me a lot. I want to learn to play electric guitar and maybe even compose songs to the point of forming a grunge/rock band. I can tell pure practice can get you to a level where you can play songs and solos that were written by people with outstanding skills but im curious about if its possible for me to get to that level to play in a band and compose songs as a person who is 19 and never picked an instrument before.
Even though im so eager about electric guitar my main ambition is improving my music skills in vocal aspect, can i improve my voice by practicing too? If so, what should i do exactly?
Thanks in advance :)
