Hi folks,. I saw that my childhood music school is raising funds to rebuild their program/buy new equipment and wanted to shamelessly plug them here. Sorry if this seems spammy, but if any of you have ever taken music lessons or been in school band, you know how important those experiences are, so hopefully you’ll hear me out:
Garrett Music Academy is a music school in Maryland. They taught me trombone from 4th - 11th grade, were always so kind, and they even give lessons to veterans & people suffering from depression/anxiety and other awesome stuff like that. They’re just an amazing group of people and they mean a lot to our community, I think the pandemic hit them especially hard in 2020.
What’s also cool is that I think anything you give counts as an “investment” so they would pay you back + interest over time (don’t quote me on that I’m not an expert lol just what I gather from the site). Please take a sec and consider giving to Garrett Music Academy at the link below. Thanks everyone and cheers!
