Okay, so I've been playing piano for quite some time and have wanted to improve in playing by ear for figuring out songs and to get better at improvising melodies and stuff. One thing I've seen every guide about ear training say is: "just try singing or humming a melody from a song you like and then playing it on your instrument." well heres the thing. i seriously suck at singing anything. i don't know the right term, i wouldnt say im completely tone deaf since i can hear when im off, but i can never get the right sounds out. what are some ways to improve my intonation when singing?
