So, I (20yo) took piano lessons for only 1 month from a teacher in march then stopped but I’m still self teaching myself at home almost every day for 1 hour and I’m currently in my 7th month. Moonlight Sonata 1st movement has always been my favorite classical piece so I started learning in my 3rd month. Although it was challenging to learn the accordion with my pinky finger and stretching my fingers (I still play the 9th interval with left hand because my hands are small unfortunately), I can say that I’ve made it until the half of the piece today (I took a break and played some stupid pop songs so I think I could’ve finished it earlier lol). I read some comments on internet saying that this piece should be played after 2 years and got shocked because I can play it in my 7th month. Do you think I’m a fast learner or moonlight sonata is an easy piece to play? I have no teacher at the moment so I think I could ask you what level it is and maybe you can also suggest some classical pieces to play after finishing this piece.
