I used to make a lot of music but haven't done so in ten years.
Back then I used fruityloop and ableton live, however fl studio always felt kinda basic to me. A lot of presets but not a lot of room to move. And I never figured out actually recording into the program.
Ableton seemed great for live performing but that wasnt what I wanted to do. I don't wanna get pro, I just wanna record and mix the songs that I play at home
I heard Reason is good, but is it to defficult for a noob?
Have fl or ableton got updates that makes them awesome? Or were they probably awesome all along?
And do you know any great YouTube channels that teach this stuff? I like Andrew Huang a lot, but its not as basic as I need it to be
