Hi there,
I have absolutely zero knowledge regarding anything music. I don't know any of the terminologies or theories. I like to sing but I'm frustrated when I realize I don't even know when I am out of tune. To me, singing is just trying to mimic the sound coming out of the speakers. I have no idea of knowing if I am doing it right, it just sounds "about right" to me. This means I am often singing out of tune/key and out-of-sync according to my friends.
I would really want to be able to sing "correctly", but I have no idea where to begin. Is music theory the right place to begin? It looks quite intimidating for me as I literally do not understand anything. Any advice is much appreciated!
