Hello there, new here (although I have been lurking for a long time hehehe). I have looked up if somebody already asked this, but I couldn't find anything, so apologies If I'm asking something stupid hehe.
I'm mixing a track I'm trying to finish, and I always wonder if I'm setting my laptop volume is correctly set. I usually put it at '50' (I'm talking about the volume slide in the TaskTray in Windows hehe), and I wonder If I should turn it up or down a bit.
Today I tried the pink noise mixing technique, and If I put my pink noise at -12db, when I start turning up the kick (for example), you can start listening to the kick at different volumes depending on my laptop volume level.
Summarizing, I just wanted to know the volume levels other people find suitable for mixing. Thank you so much, and sorry If I made some mistakes, English is not my mother tongue hehe ;)
