I'm trying to better understand how people learn about music production and songwriting nowadays. I am not that old but I started working in this field in the mid-90s. Most resources were only available in magazines or in person. In other words, resources on the internet were limited. Eventually I studied music formally and although I learn things online, I do wonder if there are key areas that people go to.
For example, many people use Youtube but do they enjoy it? Also, is reddit a common place to learn about songwriting? Your thoughts?
