My story is probably not that unique - the combination of being a basement-dwelling nerd in my younger years and mild neurological issues meant that I never really got into music past the point of it being just a nice thing in the background. The very few attempts that I did make towards doing something proactive myself did only confirm my impression that I basically have zero talent towards it.
Now, however, when I am a tad older, I no longer care about sucking at things if they're fun and I did manage to make some pretty musically-inclined friends. So, I wanted to learn a bit more about it, maybe even surprise them a bit. I want to learn how to "feel" the music.
Two music-adjacent activities that I find most interesting is playing drums and dancing. Anytime I see people do them, they seem so much fun. I am trying to decide which one I should take up, since I do not have the time to do both.
Maybe you can help me out here.
