Background: I don't know much about music other than the songs I listen to. Never learnt any music theory, singing, or anything. I'm 28.
I want to start learning some musicy stuff but am not sure where to start from. The intention is to just have fun. I want to develop it as a hobby and a stress buster, and a way to meet more people, but not as a profession. What instrument do I chose?
Thoughts: Guitar seems very portable, and cheap. And lots of people into it too
Keyboard: I've heard it's the easiest and most fundamental instrument to pickup as it teaches you a lot about music - but less portable and more expensive
Drums: I personally find this the cooolest and the one I relate to the most. Although, it's really expensive and literally not portable at all, which would limit me to the walls of my room
