It’s so weird that I didn’t see more people talking about this before, and if you’ve ever changed your guitar strings you’ve probably done this.
Essentially, fiddle with the limited number of strings before you add more and discover some new ideas. It doesn’t matter that the strings are out of tune, it doesn’t even matter that you have only changed two strings. Limitations spark creativity.
