I apologize if this is not the correct sub Reddit, this seemed correct to me.
I'm not in anyway musically talented and I apologize but I do not understand most music theory or terminology.
I am posting because recently I was gifted a harmonica, it's got ten holes and the the letter A on it. From my understanding this makes it a "diatonic" A key harmonica?
I'm very interested to learn how to play the harmonica, I've been "babbling" with it for afew weeks (I'm just practicing moving my mouth in the correct way I cannot play a tune or copy a tune). My next goal is to learn 60 seconds of song (preferably blues, I like blues).
I was wondering if anyone here could point me in the right direction for finding a reasource that will help learn a basic understanding of the harmonica I'm using.
So far I'm just a bit confused as their seems to be multiple types of harmonica, no resource I've found has helped me understand, for example, what note I produce when I blow or draw though my 1-10 holes.
I'd appreciate any input, I'd just really like to start producing music from this harmonica instead of babbling.
