I've been playing/practicing for a few months on a keyboard and I understand music theory for the most part. I can play/build almost every chord no problem but still can't get over the hump of left/right hand independence. If I change the instrument from piano to guitar,organ...or basically anything else, I can play contently but I really struggle with the piano, is this common or would it be the way I taught myself that could be causing the problem ?
