I played the flute when I was younger but I haven't touched it in years. So I have a small amount of music knowledge that's mostly cobwebs.
Backstory being that I was a classical ballet dancer when I was younger back in 2001 and I just finally found one of the pieces of Philip Glass that I danced to and we are both really excited to have found it again.
ANYWAY, my mom plays double bass and mentioned that she would like to play this piece in particular. So I did a bit of googling seeing if the sheet music was available and I found this score I guess as the closest thing to what I'm looking for even though it doesn't have that piece on it. She likes to play along with tracks.
So my question is, can she play the cello part? I'm really sorry if this is a stupid question >< or please let me know if there's a better subreddit to post it in. I'll probably cross-post to /r/doublebass but it seems quiet in there.
Thanks very much!
