Not trying to promote IK Multimedia or anything like that, I just know that there are a lot of people who have been holding out for ARC2 to go on sale again. ARC2 is a room correction system which takes measurements from your monitors and corrects the room with an EQ curve and some fancy time domain stuff which eliminates phase distortion. If you have an untreated room, this will absolutely transform your listening environment. It's like night and day. Flipping on ARC2 is like putting contact lenses on my monitors. All of a sudden everything is balanced, there are no resonant peaks in the bass and the highs are crystal clear. Now you can make good EQ decisions in the low end without worrying about them translating elsewhere. Even if your room is treated, ARC2 will correct any remaining deficiencies. Best purchase I ever made, currently at half price.
