Hello, I am learning about chords, I'm confused, I just watched a lesson about roman numerals for the third time. so I understand that there are typically a couple of major chords in A minor in a diatonic scale, and a diminished. But in the lesson about borrowed chords The instructor mentions that you would typically only borrow one major if your in minor. Because in order to still be in a minor scale most of your progression would be in minor. Also at the beginning of Theory the instructor mentions most EDM tracks are written in Minor. But most chord progressions at least the ones that are recommended as popular look like this for example... i, VI, VII, III... wouldn't this be writing in major? that's one minor chord with three major chords in a progression. I think I understand borrowing the chord better than I understand using roman numerals to write a chord progression here. If II is not in the scale of A minor but a chord progression has II in it and your writing in A minor you don't borrow a chord here? no? ii is diminished in A minor so it is not II
