Drummer here that has no space for a kit, looking to get into strings
I have a bass and guitar that I have picking up dust. I played guitar many years ago but loved drumming more. Recently I began playing bass but I play strictly alone, I find playing with backing tracks okay but not super fulfilling and learning bass as a stand-alone instrument feels off to me as much as the rhythm and timing is similar to drumming
On average, would guitar be the better instrument to focus on if playing strictly solo?
My music theory is very rusty and I want to learn scales and chords and be able to play them to create songs in the future
Any advice helps
