Basically, its a bunch of cool exercises/concepts we can apply to a major7th chord. (sheet music in the description of the video)
In general I think coming up with your own exercises is really helpful and fun! Having a 'theme' or 'constant' (In this case, the quality of chord), frees us to use our imagination to come up with ways to augment and mess around with it.
