Hi! So I'm guessing this is a super basic question, but I've got to the stage of learning the G major, F major and A minor and D minor scales (woo)
One thing I have noticed is that in all these scales books, the key signatures (is that what it's called? The bit next to the cleff sign that has the sharp and flat icons) seem to show the sharps and flats on only one octave? Why is this?
My question is: I'm guessing these sharps and flats shown on the scales apply to ALL octaves, not just the one they're shown on, right?
