Hello. Me and my partner bought ourselves a digital piano for Christmas as we had wanting to learn for a long while. We also have a 6 year old that we would love to help teach. I bought a book for us and a book intended for children. The one for children seems to be aimed at teachers helping a child. Playing pieces that are intended for both teacher and pupil to play.
Apart from some basic music theory knowledge myself we are both very much beginners. I am wonder if there are any tried and tested books or online resources that would help us help our child. He is of reading age so any books with basic language, so he can also understand more himself, would be great.
We have looked into lessons but there isn't anything in our area available at this time.
