Both my partner and I would like to learn the fiddle. He has started once in the past but didn't stick to it (when he had a new born baby). He doesn't really play any other instruments officially, other then the type of guitar playing that involves beer and bonfires, and the type of crowd that isn't what you would call a picky audience.
I have never played an instrument in my life. For all I know I am tone deaf lol. But we are both interested in learning and were thinking it might be a fun thing to do together and may be able to provide some accountability for each other.
It would be great if we could take lessons together and possibly so some of our practicing together as well. I'm wondering if having a practice "partner" is generally a good idea? How can we make practicing fun and productive?
